Cards 'n' more by Laura Ann
  • Button up! - Using Button Up! (#1001), stamp image in blue on an off-white paper. Cut out paper in rectangle shape with decorative scissors. Color image and sponge the around it using red pigment ink. Cut a contrasting piece of quilt fabric in a rectangle and fray edges (this gives it a nice country look). Mount on corrugated cardboard and then on cardstock. Embellish with your favorite buttons. We also used two different kinds of handspun wool yarn to make the bow, but raffia would also look nice.
  • Rose - One of our favorite samples. Stamp the Rose (#2039) in a sepia color on antique-white colored paper or parchment. Sponge around it using a sepia colored pigment ink. This gives the paper an extra antiqued look. Color the image with pencils (oil pencils work great and almost glow with vibrancy). Finish with a black outline, and mount on black card stock. Pretty enough to frame!
  • Strawberry Bookmark - A cute idea using the Strawberry (#2058) stamped multiple times to make a bookmark.
  • Christmas Tree - Decorate your Christmas tree! Stamp Pine Tree (#2063) with green ink on white paper. Embellish with charms, sequins, or whatever tickles your fancy. We punched small stars in red foil for accents. Trim with decorative scissors and mount on contrasting paper/cardstock.
